The invention relates to a hand grater (1), which has a basic body (2) with at least one grating surface (10, 11) arranged between its two end portions (3, 4). The grating surface (10, 11) is designed for a grating material (12), in particular a foodstuff, to be ground, at least in part, thereon. At least one of the two end portions (4) is designed to support the basic body (2) on an underlying surface (13). In contrast, the respectively other end portion (3) is provided to be retained in a position in which it is raised from the underlying surface (13). According to the invention, the basic body (2) here has an arcuate shape braced between its two end portions (3, 4). |
