PURPOSE:To obtain selective attachment of a tread portion to a tyre main body according to the use of a tyre, by forming a recessed groove on the crown part of the tyre main body, in which a rim is provided as one body, and fitting a tread band to this recessed groove. CONSTITUTION:A mold cast tyre 1 is provided with a tyre main body 2, a tread part 2, and a rim 4. A recessed groove 5 is formed on the crown part of the tyre main body 2 in such a manner that the width of the groove 5 is equal to the ground-touching width of the tyre 1. And a tread band 7 is fitted to this recessed groove 5. A belt layer 10, which is provided with cords 9 arranged along the tyre periphery at a predetermined angle interval, is imbedded in the tread band 7 on its side adjacent to the main body 2. The main body 2 is connected to the rim 4 as one body. The rim 4 is of a 2-part type and is stuck to a case by using adhesive. |
