The present disclosure is related to a method for: preparing alkoxysilane products with different degrees of hydrolysis with H2SO4, for preparing polydimethylsiloxane products with different degrees of hydrolysis / oxidation with H2SO4:H2O2 and condensation products between the modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and a modified alkoxysilane. The combination of these materials in an aqueous emulsion, can be sprinkled on argillaceous surfaces (soil, ceramics, pottery, etc.) to control the degradation or deterioration effect of said surfaces under the effect of moisture or entrainment by water. The distinctive feature of this invention is that both silicon derivatives (Polydimethylsiloxane and alkoxysilane) are modified chemically before being condensed to promote emulsification, condensation and bonding with the argillaceous materials and therefore their permanence and operation to repel water. |
