PURPOSE:To attain the firm attachment of a knob to an operation shaft by providing a pawl to a shaft fitting hole of the knob and a groove at the outer circumference of the operation shaft respectively and securing a case where the pawl is fitted and locked to the groove when the knob is fitted to the operation shaft via the shaft fitting hole. CONSTITUTION:A circular groove 3b is formed by a cutting process at the outer circumference of an outside metallic operation shaft 3. At the same time, a pawl 5d is formed at an end of a shaft fitting hole 5a of a knob 5 made of resin. The knob 5 is fitted to the shaft 3 toward an arrow head A via the hole 5a. In this case, the pawl 5d of the knob 5 is pressed and deformed by the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 3 and reset elastically at the groove 3b. Thus the pawl 5d is locked by the groove 3b and therefore positioned fixedly in the axial direction to the shaft 3. At the same time, a locking projection part 5b formed at the hole 5a is fitted to a locking hollow part 3a of the shaft 3. Thus the rotation of the knob 5 is also stopped to the shaft 3. |
