PURPOSE:To attain subminiaturization of a telephone set and ease of operation by storing a handset to a telephone set main body while being inserted thereto except talking, pushing out a handset by button operation at talking, decelerating the pushing motion of the handset and using a button to push the handset and to connect a telephone line. CONSTITUTION:The handset 7 provided with a reception part 6 at the same side of a mouthpiece 5 is provided with the slide plate 8 of a tadpole shape. The handset 7 is constituted in the way of insertion to the telephone set main body 3 by guiding and sliding the slide plate 8 by the couple of opposed guides 9. The handset 7 is pushed into the telephone set main body 3 at non-talking in the telephone set 1 like this and hungs on a telephone set base 2 while miniaturizing the telephone set so as to shorten the length of the set. The telephone set 1 is held by one hand at talking, a button 11 projected from the side face of a case 10 is depressed to draw out the handset 7 to prolong the distance between the mouthpiece 5 and the reception section 6 to be matched to the distance between the mouth and a ear for talking. |
