PURPOSE:To smoothly supply fuel into a combustion chamber in an engine when it is driven in low speed operation, by arranging a cylinder being vertically placed and a fuel supply device in the above for the combustion chamber in the perpendicular direction while directionally arranging a fuel supply route facing downward in the perpendicular direction. CONSTITUTION:An internal-combustion engine 14 arranges in its cylinder block 21 a plurality of cylinders 22 being vertically placed in parallel. And the engine connects an intake pipe 32 and a carburetor 33 above a crankcase 30 of each cylinder 22 through each reed valve 31. The carburetor 33, constituting a fuel supply device, is arranged in the above for a combustion chamber 28 in the perpendicular direction. While a fuel supply route is constituted by the intake pipe 32, crankcase 30 and a scavenging passage 34, and this route, provided toward the combustion chamber 28 from the carburetor 33, is directionally arranged facing downward in the perpendicular direction. In this way, liquefied fuel can be smoothly supplied to the combustion chamber 28 even when a mixture, being brought into contact with a low temperature wall surface of the fuel supply route, is liquefied due to a long time duration of idling or the like. |
