<p>PURPOSE:To lower a cost and improve an operability by recognizing an input handwriting pattern from a hand writing inputting key pad and detecting only the prescribed coordinate data of a coordinate input means being independently inputted to treat. CONSTITUTION:When an operator presses down a section (a) on a key pad 1, a key code corresponding to a coordinate (a) is stored in a key buffer KB, and then, when a finger is moved to (b), a new key code is stored in the key buffer KB. Both coordinates are compared, a moving direction of a stroke is analyzed and a corresponding stroke element code is produced. When further, the finger is subsequently moved from (c) to l1, (a) similar processing is performed, a character code corresponding to a handwriting 'C', is produced, stored in a displaying memory HM, and transferred to a display device 2 to display the character 'C'. When a specific position (m) on the key pad 1 is pressed down and the finger is separated, a function for displaying prescribed characters of the contents of a data memory DM indicated by a data pointer DP at that time is performed.</p> |
