PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid evaluating apparatus that can satisfactorily figure out at least either the flow quantity or flow velocity of fluid while taking into account the concentration of the fluid.SOLUTION: A fluid evaluating apparatus 1 comprises irradiating means 11 that irradiates with a laser beam LB a measuring object 100 in which fluid is flowing; light receiving means 12 that can receive the laser beam irradiating the measuring object; first calculating means 143 that calculates the concentration N of the fluid from a first light reception signal based on the signal intensity of light reception signals received by the light receiving means; and second calculating means 146 that calculates at least either the flow quantity Q of the fluid or flow velocity of the fluid from a second light reception signal based on frequency changes of the light reception signal attributable to Doppler shift of the laser beam irradiating the measuring object and the concentration calculated by the first calculating means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
