PURPOSE:To eliminate accumulation of a turn position error of a pulse motor and to surely regulate damping force over a long period, by providing a correction mechanism in the pulse motor and setting a valve mechanism to a hard mode position when a vehicle is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from a sensor 2 of car speed, steering angle, etc., control condition setter circuit 3 and a vehicle stop condition setter circuit 4 are input to a comparator circuit 5 with outputs from a driving pulse oscillator circuit 6 and a counter circuit 7. An output of said comparator circuit 5 drives valve mechanisms 11 by a gate circuit 8, driving circuits 9 and pulse motors 10. Here the pulse motor 10, in which a correction mechanism constituted of a shock absorbing rubber and a stopper pin restricting a turning angle to 180 deg. is provided, is controlled to be in a hard mode in both limit angles and driven to any of the limit angle positions by a control circuit when a vehicle is stopped. Accordingly, damping force can be surely regulated over a long period by eliminating accumulation of errors. |
