PURPOSE:To prevent the drop in driving force due to a rope, seeweeds or the like winding round, by rotating a rotary cylinder, fixing a spiral blade to the inside, in a cylindrical case by both inboard and outboard motors, and propelling the hull. CONSTITUTION:In this inboard motor propulsion machinery 18, a mounting base 1 is tightly locked to a rear bottom of the hull, and a propeller shaft 5 in a support plate 2 is connected to a turning shaft of the engine set up in the hull. Therefore, if the propeller shaft 5 is rotated, a rotary cylinder 14 is rotated in longitudinal circumferential grooves 12a and 12b of both front and rear cylindrical cases 7a and 7b by engagement between a gear 6 and a gear 16 of this rotary cylinder 14, whereby a thrust is produced in spiral blades 15a and 15b inside the rotary cylinder 14, thereby moving the hull forward or backward. And, with a water current flowing in these front and rear cylindrical cases 7a and 7b, propulsion force is increasable with a jet current action by these cylindrical cases 7a and 7b.
