METHOD FOR ADJUSTING DEGREE OF COUPLING BETWEEN STRIP LINE RESONATOR AND EXTERNAL CIRCUIT AND ITS STRIP LINE RESONATOR TO EXECUTE IT

PURPOSE:To simply adjust the degree of coupling between a resonator and an external circuit by changing the distance from an open end of a strip line electrode and a short-circuit ring till an external coupling electrode. CONSTITUTION:An external Q is increased in a resonator 10 by increasing one of the distances from an open end of a strip line electrode 14a till an external coupling electrode 18a and from an open end of a strip line electrode 14b till an external coupling electrode 18b. Moreover, the external Q is decreased by increasing one of the distances from an short-circuit ring of the strip line electrode 14a till an external coupling electrode 18a and from a short-circuit ring of the strip line electrode 14b till the external coupling electrode 18b. In this case, the external Q is adjusted simply by cutting off adjusting electrodes 20a-20f, and 22a-22f sequentially from its end.
