摘要

PURPOSE:To permit recording of user's data on a reproduction only optical disk (R/O disk) and to increase the capacity of a reproduction only region by recording the reproduction only region in the outside circumferential part by mark length recording and the data recording region in the inside circumferential part by inter-mark recording. CONSTITUTION:The data reproduction only region 2 recorded with data by the rugged bits of mark length recording is provided in the outside circumferential part of the optical disk 1 and the data recording region 3 consisting of a sector having the data field part where the data is recordable by inter-mark recording is provided in the inside circumferential part thereof. The user is thus capable of recording the data as desired on the R/O optical disk and the optical disk having the extremely large capacity is obtd.
