To force a feed press (6) with a continuously unwinding sheet coil (10) along a tunnel pipe consisting of individual members and located below the refuse dump (1) the soil is taken in at the front end and pushed out at the rear end by a plunger piston (9). The individual tunnel pipe segments are continuously uncoupled by the forward movement from the other pipes, laterally displaced and reattached to a tunnel pipe projecting from the rear of the device. The ends of the tunnel pipes are fitted with man locks (19) and material locks. The whole system can be filled with compressed air to exclude groundwater. The tunnel pipes provide an escape, and serve for ventilation and material transport. |
