<p>PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in printing quality due to reflection in a chip adjacent to a chip where light leaks from its side by arranging LED array chips in two lines in staggered fashion and providing Selfoc lens arrays corresponding to those chips. CONSTITUTION:The Selfoc lens arrays 2 and 3 focus light coming out of the LED array chips 4 and 5 mounted on a substrate 6 in two lines in staggered fashion on a photosensitive drum 1. Since the distance between adjacent LED array chips becomes greater, deterioration in printing quality due to the reflection of the light leaking from the side of the chip from its adjacent chip can be prevented.</p> |
