PURPOSE:To effectively remove a dispersion stabilizer of fine inorg. salt powder, etc., remaining and sticking on the surface by adding a water soluble org. solvent in an aq. liquid thereby removing the dispersion stabilizer sticking to the surface of the polymer particles obtd. by suspension polymn. in case of cleaning the dispersion stabilizer with an aq. liquid and removing the stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:A proper volume of the water soluble org. solvent is added into the aq. liquid in a process for cleaning of the polymer particles by the aq. liquid after the suspension polymn. The wettability of the polymer particles and the aq. soln. is assured in spite of the absence of the fine inorg. salt powder if the aq. soln. dissolved with the water soluble org. solvent at a proper ratio is used. The reaction with an acid or alkali and the fine inorg. salt powder is thus uniformly and rapidly progressed in the state in which the particles are individually and independently dispersed at all times. The fine inorg. salt powder is completely or nearly completely removed from the surface of the polymer particles in this way. |
