Planing machine table lubrication system - comprises wick in groove or gap in table surface

The system delivers lubricant to the table of a planing machine from a storage vessel underneath by a wick. It incorporates a length of wick (1, 2) in a groove (4), or gap, in the table (3). One or both wick ends are pref. arranged to protrude into the lubricant (6) in the storage vessel, and the wick can be supplied by a further one parallel to it in the groove. ADVANTAGE - Constant, not excessive, supply of lubricant even when machine is only used intermittently.
