PURPOSE:To realize a desired object characteristic inputted once even when the sampling frequency is changed with a graphic equalizer by employing the arithmetic interpolation. CONSTITUTION:The title equalizer is provided with a means which sets automatically a discrete object characteristic corresponding to a new sampling frequency with the arithmetic interpolation based on the discrete object characteristic already inputted when the sampling frequency is changed. That is, a discrete series 6 (d1-dn) having a desired object characteristic with respect to a discrete frequency series 5 (f1-fn) with the object characteristic is to be inputted therewith is inputted by an input device 1. A control arithmetic unit 3 generates a discrete series 8 (d1'-dn') with the object characteristic obtained by the calculation with respect to the new frequency series by using the arithmetic interpolation based on the envelope of the discrete series 6 inputted early and gives the result to a digital signal processing equalizer 4 as a coefficient data newly. Thus, a point d2' of, e.g., the discrete series 8 is generated by using a linear interpolation for the arithmetic interpolation based on two points d1, d2 of the discrete series 6. |
