A disc brake has the brake pads mounted in a housing which is supported in a frame (4). This frame (4) consists of a rectangle (8) with two horizontal arms (12) projecting axially from each end of its upper edge. These two arms (12) are connected by a cross-member (15). The brake pad housing is held in place by a leaf spring (42). This leaf spring has two lugs (59) extending at right angles from its mid-point. These two lugs (59) from a U-shaped clip which fastens the leaf spring (42) to the cross-member (15) of the frame (4). USE - Disc brakes of vehicles.
