PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet surface from generating recesses such as water drop shape or the like by providing a foam prevention tool in a position of blocking a sheet proceeding in the liquid and a wall surface of a coolant tank close to a site where the sheet sinks down the liquid level of the surface below in the vicinity of said site. CONSTITUTION:An extruded sheet 2 which is extrusion molded out of a mold 1 is guided obliquely below into the service water filled in a coolant tank 3, cooled, changed its direction by two turn rolls 4 and discharged out of the coolant tank 3 into the air. At that time, as a bar-shaped foam prevention tool 5 of round section is provided below a sinking site 21 of the extruded sheet 2 into the coolant tank 3, foams generated on the inner wall surface of the coolant tank are not brought into contact with the sheet not yet cooled in the vicinity of the site where the sheet sinks into the coolant tank because of the difference between the temperature of coolant and the atmospheric temperature, and the generation of recesses on the surface of the sheet can be prevented. |
