The invention relates to a follow-me-home lighting and/or indicating device for a motor vehicle capable of illuminating an area extending around said vehicle for a predetermined duration, wherein said device has at least one first source of white light (33) and at least first (51) and second (52) rotating lighting and/or indicating modules capable of generating, respectively, light beams in predetermined main directions. The invention is characterized in that each of the first (51) and second (52) rotating modules has a first surface (MIR) and a second surface (MOT) opposite the first, wherein the first surface (MIR) has a reflective surface (37) capable of directing the light beam (40) emitted by the first source of white light (33) toward said area and the second surface (MOT) bears a pattern. Said device also comprises a control unit (OC) capable of controlling the rotation and the brightness of at least one rotating module (52) to direct the first surface (MIR) thereof toward said area such as to sweep at least partially said area via a series of at least two consecutive rotations of at least 180°, first in one direction then in the other, of the rotating module (52) with a brightness determined according to the rotation of the module (52). |
