<p>PURPOSE:To improve the workability of the data input device by updating a pointer for specifying each item in each key operation, allowing the pointer to identify a character sort corresponding to the specified item and displaying a keyboard matched with the character sort on a transparent touch panel. CONSTITUTION:The pointer 30 for an input register 29 is cleared and an item name corresponding to a set item code is displayed. A sort code is identified based upon a set sort code and a specified keyboard is displayed on the touch panel 25. A touch key input on the panel 25 obtained by using a key code/input code conversion table 31 and the current specified sort code is collated with input codes and the corresponding input code is stored in a buffer 32. When an execution key is depressed, the data stored in the buffer 32 are inputted to a data file 33. Thereby, key operation for data input can be reduced.</p> |
