PURPOSE:To make the work of a helper easier when an elderly person, etc. takes a bath by a method wherein a floor for helping is provided at a position which is 70-100cm lower than the top end of a bath-tub, a drain board is pro vided at a position which is 30-50cm lower than the top end of the bath-tub, and the drain board is made detachable from a drain board placing surface. CONSTITUTION:A floor for helping 21 is provided in a washing space 2, and the upper surface is located at a position which is 70-100cm lower than the top end of a side wall 11 of a bath-tub 1. Also, a foldable drain board 3 is detachably provided on a placing surface 22, and the upper surface is located at a position which is 30-50cm lower than the top end of the side wall 11. The drain board 3 under a folded condition is stored in a recessed part 12 of the side wall 11. By this method, when an aged person, etc., taking a bath is assisted, a helper can stand on the floor for helping 21 by removing the drain board 3, and therefore, helping becomes easier. |
