<p>PURPOSE: To reduce in size a finishing apparatus of a copier by partly integrating structural and functional features of a stacking tray and a retracting type compiling shelf. CONSTITUTION: Copy sheets are conveyed to both a stacking tray 34 and a movable compiling member 60 to dispose part of the sheets in the tray 34 and the residue in the member 60. A fastener of a stapler 96 or the like is disposed adjacent to the member 60. After copy sheet sets are bound each other, the copy sheet supporting part of the member 60 is moved to be released from both the copy sheet and the stacking tray 34 to support the overall set by the tray 34 by using the retracting mechanism.</p> |
