PURPOSE:To provide the subject electrofused magnesia filler high in both single crystal ratio and CaO/SiO2 ratio and suitable for a refractory for a lining of blast furnace for smelting steel or a non-ferrous metal, etc., and other ceramic raw materials. CONSTITUTION:The content of MgO, the content of SiO2 and the content of CaO are controlled to a value respectively within a range of 99.0-99.8wt.%, <=0.05wt.% and 0.2-1.0wt.% to obtain the objective large crystalline electrofused magnesia clinker especially excellent in corrosion resistance. |
