The buckle (2) is S-shaped and has three parallel branches (3-5). The free end of the strap (8) is passed between the lower and centre branches (3, 4), round the upper branch (5) and then back under the lower branch. The strap is locked by the friction of the strap during traction upon it. The buckle is made from a metallic wire and the branches are joined by two opposite curves (6, 7). The free end of the lower branch can be joined to the free end of the upper branch by a lateral branch, bent to form a fourth parallel branch. USE- Buckle for length-adjustable straps and joined to the strap without stitching.
