PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control device having higher person detection precision.SOLUTION: A load control device 10 determines the presence or absence of a human based on a first sensor signal from a first person detection sensor 5 and a second sensor signal from a second person detection sensor 6. A determination unit 3 has a first determination mode for determining the presence or absence of a human based on both the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal, and a second determination mode for determining the presence or absence of a human based on the second sensor signal. The determination unit 3 calculates the variation value between the brightness of image data generated by picking up a first detection range at a predetermined timing by the first person detection sensor 5, and the brightness of image data which are subsequently picked up and generated. The determination unit 3 withholds determination of the presence or absence of a human when the variation value of the brightness is not less than a predetermined value, and determines the presence or absence of a human when the variation value of the brightness is less than the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
