The present invention relates to a power line communication (PLC) device using the spread spectrum applicable to the AMR system, HA, FA and building automation system. The PLC device includes power line transformer, matching filter, spread spectrum signal generator, control device and external interface. The PLC device can decrease the data transmission error, can be applied to various peripheral devices without exchanging a new power line communication device, can provide a more stable and faster data communication, can minimize the signal attenuation on the power line, can enable long communication, and can enhance the security in the power line communication.
