PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device.SOLUTION: One subject of the invention is a cooking device comprising internal elements including: at least one heating means; control and/or monitoring means; and at least one light-emitting device. The internal elements are covered with at least one glass plate or glass-ceramic plate colored using vanadium oxide. At least one light-emitting device is not a light-emitting device of red color seen through the plate. The plate intrinsically has a light transmittance ranging from 2.3% to 40% and a spectral transmittance of at least 0.6% for at least one wavelength within the range from 420 to 480 nm. The cooking device is such that at least one masking means for masking at least one part of the internal elements is placed on top of, underneath or within the plate.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
