A PCIE-based sub-card hot plugging method. The method comprises the following steps: after PCIE sub-card hot plugging triggers an interruption, an interruption processing function checking whether the interruption is an insertion interruption caused by inserting a PCIE sub-card or is a pullout interruption caused by pulling the PCIE sub-card out; if a check result is an insertion interruption, the interruption processing function and a polling thread processing the insertion interruption, so as to report insertion event information to higher-layer software after the PCIE sub-card is initialized; and if the check result is a pullout interruption, the interruption processing function and a polling thread processing the pullout interruption, so as to delete port information corresponding to the PCIE sub-card. The above-mentioned method realizes the PCIE sub-card hot plugging function, is compatible with an on-line power-on/power-off function, and can effectively process, in a timely manner, exceptions generated in the process of plugging. |
