A generator assembly may include a base made of a composite material for supporting a plurality of components including an alternator, and engine, and a fuel tank for storing the fuel for the operation of the engine. The base may include a recess formed in a support surface of the base, and a lid configured to be detachably mounted to the support surface to close the recess and form the fuel tank. The lid may include a baffle configured to extend into the recess and separate and define a fuel feed chamber and a return flow chamber in the recess. |
