Ride-sharing long-term ride-share groups

A ride-sharing server may request users associated with a long-term ride-share group to confirm attendance 504 to an upcoming group route from an origin to a destination. Confirmation is received from one of the users confirming attendance to the group route, and the group route is constructed according to the confirmation and current travel conditions. A rental server is informed of use of a vehicle for the group route. Furthermore, a vehicle space availability is determined and a user outside of the long-term ride-share group can be invited. A route is then determined for the the long-term ride-share group and outside users.
