PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater survey/analysis method capable of accurately obtaining a surrounding state of an acoustic sonar over a wider range in real time without frequently moving a position of the acoustic sonar.SOLUTION: An underwater survey/analysis method surveys and analyzes an underwater environment surrounding an underwater three-dimensional (3D) acoustic sonar 23 by using a sonar system including: the underwater 3D acoustic sonar 23 which emits a sound wave into water so as to identify a targeted object and the size of the object by picking up a reflection wave of the sound wave; a video camera 25 for identifying a type of the object; and a controller 13 for analyzing data collected by the underwater 3D acoustic sonar 23 and data collected by the video camera 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
