PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum packaging machine which can, when vacuum-packaging an object to be packaged of which temperature is higher than atmospheric temperature in a packaging bag, vacuum-package with sufficient deaeration in the packaging bag without boiling over the object to be packaged from the packaging bag.SOLUTION: The second mode packaging program of a vacuum packaging machine 10 suitable for an object to be packaged of which temperature is higher than atmospheric temperature comprises the steps of: starting a chamber deaeration control in which an aperture peripheral edge of a packaging bag accommodated in the chamber 12 is closed and at the same time deaeration of the chamber 12 is performed by a vacuum pump 30 to be negative-pressured; executing a bag evacuation control in which, when swelling detection means 42 detects that the packaging bag swells in accompany with progress of negative-pressured state of the chamber 12 during execution of the chamber deaeration control, deaeration of the chamber 12 is temporarily stopped and the aperture of the packaging bag is opened to discharge gas from the packaging bag, and gas is discharged from the packaging bag while the aperture peripheral edge of the packaging bag is closed; and executing an encapsulation control in which the aperture of the packaging bag is encapsulated with heat deposition by activating a heater 23 after execution of the bag evacuation control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
