PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed controller capable of controlling an operation speed in stages in one stroke of an external cylinder with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A speed controller 1 includes a first flow channel 16 and a second flow channel 18 communicating a first port 12 and a second port 14, a first check valve 28 is disposed in the first flow channel 16, a first needle valve 32 is disposed in the second flow channel 18, the second flow channel 18 applies an opening hole 28d of the first check valve 28 as a part of the flow channel, the first needle valve 32 adjusts a flow rate by changing an opening area of the opening hole 28d by a tip portion 34a of a needle shaft 34 fixed to a piston 30 reciprocating in a cylinder chamber 20, further a third flow channel 22 communicating the first port 12 and the cylinder chamber 20, and a fourth flow channel 26 communicating the cylinder chamber 20 and an exhaust port 24 are disposed, a second check valve 46 for circulation from the first port 12 to the cylinder chamber 20 is disposed in the third flow channel 22, and the second check valve 46 also acts as an opening/closing valve of the fourth flow channel 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
