PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in a stress corrosion crack test for evaluating a stress corrosion crack in a titanium layer arranged on the front surface of a radioactive waste disposal container concerning a stress corrosion crack testing device.SOLUTION: A stress corrosion crack testing device 10 for evaluating a stress corrosion crack in a titanium layer arranged on the front surface of a radioactive waste disposal container includes: a test container 14 with the mixture 12 of a test aqueous solution and a buffering material put therein; and loading means such as a flexure jig 16, that is arranged inside the test container, loads a load on a test body 18 formed of a titanium material, and is formed of a metallic material. The test body and the loading means such as a flexure jig are embedded in a mixture. The loading means such as a flexure jig is electrically connected to the test body in order to allow the immersion potential of the test body to be test potential, has a wetted area larger than the wetted area of the test body, and has immersion potential being the same as test potential. |
