The purpose of this reverse input blocking clutch is to prevent an abutment part between an input shaft and an output shaft from adhering and becoming integrated even when an adhesive substance forms, and to reliably impede rotational force exerted on an output shaft. An adhesion-preventing part (19) of a transmission mechanism part prevents an abutment part between an input shaft (12) and an output shaft (13) from adhering, the adhesion-preventing part (19) being accommodated in an outer ring (14) of the reverse input blocking clutch, and in the adhesion-preventing part (19) illustrated, protuberances are formed to bring the input shaft (12) and the output shaft (13) into contact, reducing the contact area of the abutment part. The transmission mechanism part allows the output shaft (13) to rotate when rotational force is exerted on the input shaft (12), and impedes the rotation of the input shaft (12) when rotational force is exerted on the output shaft (13). |
