PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle camera device capable of reducing possibility that when a vehicle is inclined lower toward the rear, a target in front of the vehicle is unrecognizable.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle camera device using a camera which images the front of a vehicle includes: a recognition part for, from an image for optical axis adjustment imaged by the camera, recognizing a target for adjustment included in the image; an adjustment part for adjusting the optical axis of the camera on the basis of the target for adjustment recognized by the recognition part; a correction part for correcting an optical axis position on the image corresponding to the optical axis of the camera adjusted by the adjustment part by moving it to the lower part of the image; and a setting part for setting a recognition range for performing the recognition processing of the target on the image on the basis of the optical axis position corrected by the correction part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
