PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical feeder using solid medicine capable of feeding an appropriate amount of chemical solution to circulating water at each of operation time and stopped time at a cooling tower without requiring any complex control or structure.SOLUTION: A chemical feeder 150 comprises a solution container 151 for immersing a part of solid chemical 165 to circulating water W2 stored in a cooling tower 120, and solution water supply means 180 for supplying water to non-immersed portion not immersed in circulating water W2 at solid medicine 165 at the time of operation of the cooling tower 120. Solution water supply means 180 is constituted by a branch line L180 branched from a branch line L110 where circulating water W2 circulates so as to supply water to the non-immersed portion of solid medicine 165. In addition, solution water supply means can also be constituted by a water supply part 137 for supplying supply water W1 supplied at the time of operation of the cooling tower 120 to the non-immersed portion of the solid medicine 165.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
