PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meander driving detection device for a vehicle, which prevents erroneous detection and also detects even comparatively small meander when a situation is the abnormal one concerning meander driving detection.SOLUTION: The meander driving detection device for a vehicle includes lateral position detection means for detecting lateral position relation between a lane and the vehicle on the vehicle; and abnormality detection means for identifying presence/absence of an abnormality in meander driving, based on a change in the position relation. The device also includes statistic value output means 3a-11 for obtaining and outputting a statistic value corresponding to a time sequential change concerning the detected lateral position; lane change detection means 3a-13 for detecting presence/absence of a lane change expressing a movement by crossing between a plurality of lanes; and statistic value initialization means 3a-12 for initializing the statistic value of the statistic value output means when the lane change detection means detects existence of the lane change. Abnormality detection means 3a-7 identifies presence/absence of the abnormality in the meander driving, based on the latest statistic value to be outputted by the statistic value output means. |
