PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle with a pickup function superior in detection sensitivity to string vibration.SOLUTION: A saddle 1 with a pickup function includes a saddle body 2 having a string contact position on a top surface thereof and a sensor 3 which is attached to the saddle body 2 and includes a rectangular plate-like substrate 3d and a piezoelectric element laminated on the surface of the substrate 3d. The sensor 3 is attached to the saddle body 2 so as to bend in a short direction due to vibration of a string. Preferably, the saddle is configured so that an external force in a vertical direction due to vibration of the string acts on an end part or the center part in the short direction of the sensor. Preferably, at least one of both end parts in the short direction of the sensor is a free end. |
