摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent member which is a dense ceramic structure and achieves high light emitting efficiency with high thermal conductivity, a manufacturing method therefor and a light-emitting device.SOLUTION: There is provided a fluorescent member having a dense ceramic structure, a ceramic matrix of alumina and phosphor particles of YAG doped with Ce, dispersed in the ceramic matrix, where the content of phosphor particles of YAG is 20 to 90 vol.% and the content of ceramic matrix of alumina is 80 to 10 vol.% in total 100 vol.%, phosphor particles of YAG mainly comprise first particles with crystal particle diameter of 10 to 20 μm and second particles whose crystal particle diameter is 1/5 or less of the crystal particle diameter of the first particles, and a ratio of volume of the second particles and volume of the first particles is 0.05 to 0.30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
