PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily correct image deterioration due to the partial light shielding effect of a mechanical rear curtain in the case of using an electronic front curtain and the mechanical rear curtain.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 12 acquires an input image generated by an imaging apparatus that controls exposure of an imaging device 26 by light flux from an imaging optical system 15a with a shutter, and performs image restoration processing on the input image by using image restoration filters generated on the basis of an optical transfer function from the imaging optical system to the imaging device at the time of exposure. Processing means 12 uses, as the image restoration filter, a first image restoration filter generated on the basis of an optical transfer function in a state where a part of the light flux directed from the imaging optical system by the mechanical curtain toward the imaging device is shielded, in the case where one of the front curtain and the rear curtain of the shutter is the electronic curtain and the other is the mechanical curtain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
