PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that protects appropriately data in an outer memorizing device by performing data processing according to set security level with respect to the data in the outer memorizing device.SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 has a media slot 18 to be electrically connected to an outer memory 25, a proximity sensor 20 and a control portion 15. The control portion 15, when determining that the outer memory 25 is connected to the slot and when the proximity sensor 20 does not detect a user, executes a data protection process according to preset security level with respect to data in the outer memory 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
