<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system that can completely store the value which has been once set at a printer driver in a document print mode, and can freely apply the stored set value when the following various types of documents are printed. SOLUTION: The printer drivers 27A and 27B of a host computer 1 separate the print set value (the set form sizes, form directions, image resolution, etc.) A1 to A4 and B1 to B4 which are once used in the past for print of some documents from the document files 31 to 37 and store these set value. Meanwhile, the correspondence tables 41A and 41B are stored to show the corresponding relations between the value A1 to A4 and B1 to B4 and the files 31 to 37 which once used these value. When the drivers 27A and 27B are called out for print of a certain document, the stored print set value and a list of the corresponding documents are shown. Thus, a user selects the specific set value out of the list, and the printer drivers process the relevant document file to send it to a printer based on the selected set value.</p> |
