The present invention provides a connector, comprising a housing and a socket kept to the housing. The connector can firmly keep the socket even there is no mechanism arranged at the upper wall part of the housing for pushing the socket. The connector comprises: a pair of arms (23) capable of elastically clamping the socket (3); and clamping parts (24) arranged at the front ends of the arms (23) and having clamping planes (24a) parallel with a panel perpendicular to an embedding direction of the socket (3), in addition, corners formed by the clamping planes (24a) and the arms (23) are provided with pushing planes (25), when the socket (3) is clamped by the arms (23), the pushing planes (25) push the socket (3) towards the embedding direction. |
