PURPOSE:To provide the electronic keyboard musical instrument which can be played on with a richer variation by generating a difference in sound image localization between a dummy sound generated by keying with a pedal stepped and a dummy sound generated by keying without stepping the pedal. CONSTITUTION:The electronic keyboard musical instrument 1 which has the pedal 3 for giving variations to sounds has a detecting means 2 which detects the ON/OFF state of the pedal 3, a regenerating means 5 which has plural sound generation channels for outputting dummy sounds, and a sound volume determining means 2 which determines the sound volume of the dummy sounds outputted to the respective sound generation channels according to the ON/OFF state of the pedal 3 detected by the detecting means 2.
