PURPOSE:To obtain the compact structure of the whole machine body by receiving the paper money in a temporary storage chamber onto a supporting band group which constitute of elastic members such as springs and in projection state and transferring said paper money into a receiving part and winding the supporting bands all together, in a paper money arranging machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:The captioned transfer device consists of a movable frame body 17 which can transfer from a paper memory receiving position, i.e., the position directly under the shutter 12 of a temporary storage chamber to a paper money loading position in a receiving part 8, a plurality of supporting band body driving-in/out mechanism 18 which are arranged onto the movable frame body 17, and a driving means 19 for driving the driving-in/out mechanism 18. The movable body 17 has length ranging the nearly whole region in the direction of width of the receiving part 8, and one edge of the movable body 17 is fixed onto a belt 22 laid between the pulleys 20 and 21 axially laid in one side vertical part of the receiving part 8, and an intermediate part is supported onto a guide roll. The movable body 17 is raised and lowered in the vertical direction when the pulley 21 is driven by a motor M1. Further, a supporting band body 24 consisting of a spring plate, etc., is projected into the receiving part 8.
