Protective arrangements.-In order to exclude from a wired wireless broadcasting or control system interference caused bv a consumer's household electric appliances, e.g. battery charger &c., rejector means comprising inductance and capacity are connected in the consumer's supply mains prior to the service switch. As shown in Fig. 1, an inductance 2 is connected in the supply main 4 and a condenser 3 is connected across the supply 4, 5 on the consumer side of the inductance, the values of inductance and capacity being suitable to eliminate highfrequency signals over a wide range without causing interference with the power supply to the consumer. The arrangement also prevents interference arising within the consumer's premises from reaching the power lines and effecting other consumers. In a three-wire power circuit two units of the type shown in Fig. 1 are used, the inductances being connected in the outers and the condensers between the outers and the midwire. |
