[Class 7 (ii).] The inner end 2 of a cylinder head is (a) strengthened by a ring 8 of ductile material, which is shrunk on, and, (b) connected by flexible ribs 7 to the outer edge 1; the longest dimensions of cross sections of the ribs are arranged circumferentially to the head. An annular space 4 permits expansion to take place. |
