An adjustable cover comprises two parts 1 and 8 which slide over each other in parallel planes controlled by a plurality of fastening means 14 fitted through slots 9 and holes 5, controlling the frictional movement of the two parts against each other and enabling a range of size adjustments in one plane. Adjustment at right angles in the other plane is provided for by flexibility of the two cover parts which hinge along longitudinal creases or V shapes, the facets either side of which form elongated triangular spines. This provides multidirectional variations in overall size to cover the varying dimensions and designs of exposed and damaged recessed and surface mounted containers and apertures, such as gas meters, electricity meters or similar utility meters. Removable and replaceable accessory pockets 10 and 12 may house adhesive means to attach the cover and may allow access to ventilation holes 13. |
